Thank You

Amid all the controversy over a few people who refuse to comply with the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for our community, I realized that the majority of honorable residents who do comply are getting very little appreciation. I may get a few grumbles when I point out to a resident that they have an item out of compliance. But in 99 times out of 100, once the item is brought to their attention, they honor their commitment to the community, and comply. Experience has led me to the theory that even the most community minded person has a particular rule that they would prefer not to follow. But, because they do honor their neighbors, they comply.
I would like to thank all of you who treat me in a respectful manner and understand that there is nothing personal when I bring to your attention that an item needs corrected. I am grateful for your cooperation and am proud to work with and for you. Please understand that we will not let the few defiant residents, who get the attention of the community by refusing to comply, slip through the cracks. We will follow the guidelines set out in the community documents and the procedures allowed by law to resolve the situation. We understand that you would like immediate results and so would we. Unfortunately, in very rare cases, the actions of the resident in non-compliance make immediate correction impossible. We will follow the legal avenues available to us as quickly as possible to resolve the situation to the benefit of the community.
Thanks again to all of you whose actions show that you do value your community and your neighbors.
Mary
