Round Table Invitation

Our next informal Round Table discussion group will be held at the club at 10:30 am on Wednesday, October 4. It is a great way to keep up with the latest community news, receive first hand information, and dispel rumors. Hope to see you there!

An Added Feature!

This beautiful new water feature has been added at the corner of Harborwoods Place and Fountain Walk. I just wish I could let you hear the sound of the waterfall on a gorgeous sunny morning like today!

Welcome Brunch

Yesterday we held our first welcome brunch for those new residents who have closed on Harbor Hills Development built homes. It gave our new residents a chance to meet staff, learn about the country club and socialize with other newcomers. The food was delicious and the presentations were informative. We hope to have these events in the future as more new residents close on their homes.

Harbor Hills First "Crop"

Our crafty Harbor Hills ladies held their first scrapbooking fest (also known as a "crop")! The beginners picked up the techniques right away and all took home beautiful photo pages. They enjoyed it so much that they hope to make it a regular event! Posted by Picasa

Welcome to the Community!

Welcome to the Ferroni, Gessner, Hammer, Moore and Rands families who have recently closed on their Harbor Hills Development built homes. If you see a new face, please introduce yourselves. The Villages may claim to be the Friendliest Home Town but they can't beat our friendly community!

Moving Day!

Three of our teenage peacocks will be journeying today to their new home on a farm in Sumter County. In an effort to thin our muster of peacocks, Russell Thomas has built this lovely pen. He enticed these peacocks in with cookie crumbs and will drive them to their new home today. Posted by Picasa

You've Got Mail!

The annual audited statements for Harbor Hills Homeowners' Association were mailed out yesterday to members of that association. So check your mailboxes. If they do not arrive today, they should be arriving in the very near future.

Outgoing Mail

The new style cluster mailboxes installed at the South gate area include wider slots for outgoing mail. The other cluster boxes in the community have outgoing mail slots that may be used for standard envelopes. If you have an oversized card or other large flat envelope, it may be dropped in the outgoing mail slot at the new cluster boxes just inside the entrance of the South gate. Posted by Picasa

Speaking of Labor . . .

Assistant Golf Pros Bill Robertson and Ron Musgrave did the Harbor Hills version of a Chainsaw Massacre on the palm trees near the entrance to the golf pro shop. The guys looked a little worse for wear after a hard day of work, but the trees look beautiful! Posted by Picasa
