Alice Reeves Celebrates Her 100th Birthday at Harbor Hills

Alice Reeves, born in 1909 in Leesburg Florida, is celebrating her 100th birthday at the Harbor Hills Country Club. In January an original bronze sculpture created by artist John Bennett as commissioned by the Friends of the Leesburg Library was unveiled in her honor.



When her 50 year old grandson, whom was decorating for the grand celebration, was asked how his grandmother was preparing for this evening's party, he responded that she was out mowing her lawn with her push mower.
